4014 Test Engineer

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with experience in formal software and mission system test planning, execution, and reporting for Government customer acceptance. The ideal candidate has a background in test automation and use of cloud-based software and testing tools. The role involves designing, implementing, and executing, automated test cases while collaborating with cross functional teams in an Agile environment. The Senior Test Engineer validates software releases against acceptance criteria and formal requirements traceability. The Senior Test Engineer confers with users, studies system flow, data usage, work processes, and investigates problem areas. The work is full time on-site in Chantilly, VA.

REQUIRED QUALIFIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of additional experience)
• 10 years experience in software quality assurance/tester, test engineer, and/or test automation engineer.
• 2 years experience with Test Automation/Scripting
• Understanding of formal software test plans, reporting, and acceptance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Clearance: Active Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5 or more years performing formal software testing in classified environments for US Government customers
• 3 years experience using Gherkin Test Specification Tool
• 3 years experience with Agile development
• 2 years of hands-on experience testing cloud-based applications
• 5 years of test automation/scripting experience

CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI within last 24 months minimum
