OVERVIEW:
This position is a development position on the Strata Program, and will work on a scrum team tasked with development and maintenance of the current and planned GVS capabilities. Successful candidates for this position will have training (BS) in a science or technology related discipline, multiple years of experience in software engineering, and previous experience working within a team environment utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile software methodologies and processes. The ideal candidate will also have experience with at least one of JavaScript (front-end frameworks preferred), Java, or the Python programming languages. Candidate is expected to collaborate cross-functionally with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Angular and AngularJS experience (especially AngularJS to Angular code migration)
- Docker/Kubernetes/Containerization experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of software development experience including experience with at least one of these languages: JavaScript (front-end frameworks preferred), Java, or Python.
- Prior experience working with one or more of the following environments and applications: Red Had Linux, Postgres, AWS, and Apache
- Experience working on a Development team within SAFe or other Agile Release Trains
- Experience with Angular and/or Angular.JS
- Experience with Git and contributing to open source projects
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions; bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
