OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS Lead, to serve as the technical lead for all iOS software development efforts. The iOS Lead shall be able to authoritatively and effectively provide guidance in the overall aspects of the software development efforts to include:?

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS Lead, to serve as the technical lead for all iOS software development efforts. The iOS Lead shall be able to authoritatively and effectively provide guidance in the overall aspects of the software development efforts to include:?
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Be a leader of juniors, mentor juniors, incrementally plan development and assign tasks;?
- Work with other teams to achieve results, act as team representative/spokesperson;?
- Data architectures, software assurance, and security;?
- Conduct rapid software prototyping to demonstrate and evaluate technologies in relevant environments;?
- Conduct performance, security, and other aspects of evaluating software systems;?
- Test software capabilities, using novel testing and analysis techniques;?
- Document software with an emphasis on architectures, user stories, and interface definitions;?
- Practice agile software development methods, and actively participate on teams of software developers, researchers, designers, and technical leads;?
- Support software development infrastructure and assist in building and configuring computing systems and resources;?
- Interface with technical community and other Government entities to understand challenges, needs, and develop solutions.
- Contribute to improving the overall technical capabilities of the customers mission by participating in design (software and otherwise) sessions, developing unique capabilities, and sharing insights and practices across Government organizations supporting the mission.?
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work experience as a technical lead and subject matter expert (SME) on a major program, project, or activity.
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the direct performance of a major program, project, or activity relating to computer software development at the user and kernel level, computer programming, and /or computer digital forensics.?
- Minimum of seven (7) years of intensive software development experience in modern languages such as C/C++ or Python?
- Knowledge of other commonly used languages such as Rust, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, Go, etc.?
- Working knowledge of some modern computing paradigms and environments such as NoSQL systems, cloud computing and virtualization, parallel programming, network programming, mobile development, and interface development?
- Experience with end-to-end software development activities in Mac and i0S?
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, version control systems, and bug tracking?systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Gitlab, etc.)
- Working knowledge and experience in participating in agile software development practices and team design sessions?
- Experience working on a software development team (with a focus on the iOS operating system); and?
- Demonstrated problem solving ability with aptitude to explore and evaluate many possible solutions to problems.?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering from an accredited university/college.?Alternatively, at the discretion of the customer, a combination of experience and equivalent technical certifications maybe be considered as substitutes for formal education.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Software Engineer contributed to open-source development projects.?
CLEARANCE:
- Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a SCI access with a polygraph.
