We're looking for exceptional problem-solvers to help address our clients' most compelling Cloud needs within the public sector. You will work along-side top engineers and technical thought leaders building Cloud solutions helping shape the future of global enterprises. You will be at the heart of the technical solutioning and leading-edge product development.

Work you'll do:

The Platform Engineer (GCP) is responsible for working alongside a highly technical team of cloud engineers to drive the implementation, and management of cloud-based solutions for multiple environments. This role involves working on cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing cloud performance across platforms. Some other technical skills needed to perform the job include experience with cloud infrastructure design and deployment, automation and CI/CD, monitoring and optimization, and incident management and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain and Public Trust.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience with platform engineering using GCP.
  • 5+years' experience working within multi cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, GKE) and AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
  • This is a primarily remote position with the ability to travel 0-20% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve .

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750-$171,250.
