Information Operations Planner
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
As an Information Operations subject matter expert, you'll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, technical, expertise to work on projects for a Combatant Command. You'll research, develop, analyze, provide input to assessments, conduct mission analysis, create staff estimates, and build concepts of support and concepts of operations. You will coordinate and collaborate with Military Information Support Operations (MISO), military deception (MILDEC), Cyberspace operations (CO), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Public Affairs (PA), and participate in theater exercises. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and integrate intelligence into theater plans and joint operations.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience working in support of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE)
- Knowledge of Joint planning doctrine
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products to create and present professional presentations and briefing material
- Bachelor's degree
- Top Secret clearance
- Completion of an IO primer course
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Joint Professional Military Education II
- Knowledge of OIE doctrine and policy
- Ability to clearly and concisely articulate OIE tasks and guidance into OPLANs, TASKORDs, Appendices
- Master's degree
- Project Management
