IT - QA and Test
Arlington, VA (On-Site/Office)
Job Number: R0213948
Test and Evaluation Engineer, Mid
The Opportunity:
When a warfighter tries new equipment and systems, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and ease of use are key to successful weapons systems-and that means rigorous testing. That's why we need you, a knowledgeable Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer who knows how to thoroughly test systems in an operational environment to make sure weapons systems perform in the real world.
As a T&E engineer on our team, you'll work with operational users, systems engineers, and developers to evolve how the DoD tests weapons systems. You'll work on creating test plans with test cases based on real-world scenarios. Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the weapons systems perform, then document and communicate the test results.
This is an opportunity to leverage your skills evaluating the effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of DoD's weapons systems. You'll also further your experience in model-based systems engineering, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation and explore new areas such as AI and ML engineering.
Work with us as we help the DoD test critical weapons systems in the real world.
Join us. The world can't wait.
