Responsibilities
- Develops logistics strategies and recommends changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule. Assesses, manages and works to reduce risk factors.
- Enhances workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
- Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
- Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
- Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Provides reports from inspections and advises on the overall compliance for the Commands NET and NEF Standing Operations Procedure (SOP) by the subordinate units
- Provides technical and administrative assistance to all supported units on sustainment matters including by entering data into multiple databases IAW respective regulations and policies to include USARC 750-1.
- Produces and provides COR/ACOR reports such as the KYLOC updates and CIF-ISM ensuring that all information provided is accurate.
- Assists in the preparation, scheduling, execution and reporting in the Automated Inspection Programs (AIP) for the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP).
- Assists the Government in managing the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) Program and provide feedback on submitted meal requests IAW Command Food Service Standing Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Provides supply guidance and support to units in accordance with Army Regulations 710-1 and 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1 and 710-2-2, and USACAPOC (A) G4 Policies and Procedures.
- Assists the Government in maintaining files in accordance with applicable policies, including Army Regulation 25-400-2.
- Provides assistance to the Government in the management, accountability, and performance of the supply management functions for Central Issue Facility (CIF) transactions utilizing an automated system by monitoring the ISM-CIF transactions and providing weekly delinquency report to the COR/ACOR in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Appropriately track the status of all Supply and Services taskers and operation orders to ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Requires BA and 0-2 years.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a security clearance SECRET level or higher. (Preference will be given to those with an active clearance)
- Five (5) years logistics experience working in a Property Book Team, or Group using the current system of record for property accountability (GCSS-Army)
- Proficient and experienced working on Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS), Central Issue Facility-Installation Support Module, (ISM-CIF) and GCSS-A (certificate needed)
- Knowledgeable and familiarity with the following:
- AR 710-2 (Supply Policy Below the National Level)
- DA PAM 710-2-1 (Using Unit Supply System/Manual Procedures)
- USAR Pam 710-2, AR 735-5 (Policies and Procedures for Property Accountability)
- AR 725-50 (Requisitioning, Receipt, and Issue System)
- AR 700-84 (Issue and Sale of Personal Clothing)
- CTA 50-900
- CTA 50-909
