Responsibilities
- Performs munitions supply activities in the Keesler Munitions Storage Area (MSA), ensuring customer requirements are met while complying with DAFMAN 21-201, AFMAN 21-200, DESR 6055.09 AFMAN 91-201 and all applicable USAF directives.
- Performs munitions operations/accountability management duties of receiving, identifying, inspection, storage, reconditioning, shipping, issuing, delivering, security, accountability, and maintenance of conventional munitions and related containers
- Operate and maintain munitions material handling equipment (MMHE)
- Manages munitions operating, storage and administrative facilities to include housekeeping
- Perform stockpile and custody account inventories, inventory adjustments, and report of surveys as required; ensure 100% munitions accountability
- Perform munitions surveillance and associated inspection actions
- Maintains an effective munitions inspection program and maintain accountable munitions documents
- Identifies storage requirements and storage area hazards, identifies/applies site planning principles, identifies/applies quantity distance principles, identifies compatibility requirements, documents munitions movements
- Responsible to perform all assigned duties as safety and efficiently as possible to maintain a safe work environment in accordance with all applicable rules and standards including, but not limited to, OSHA and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards and Technical Orders
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements
- Position is classified as mission essential and may require employee to shelter at work location and to respond to disasters or other contingencies
Qualifications
- Minimum USAF seven level skill completion in 2W0X1 - Munitions Systems Career Field
- Minimum ten years' experience in munitions career field
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have SECRET clearance
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
