GDIT is your place. You make it your own by embracing autonomy, seizing opportunity, and being trusted to deliver your best every day. We think. We act. We deliver. There is no challenge we can't turn into opportunity.
Our work depends on a TS/SCI level cleared Systems Integrator joining our team to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer in Alexandria, VA.
General Description: The successful Systems Engineer Integrator candidate will participate in software and systems engineering and integration to develop new capabilities and develop and manage systems level requirements, operational systems concepts, originating design concepts or perform systems level integration and testing for highly complex systems. The candidate can expect to interact with systems users to translate requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements, capabilities, and design. You will participate in the development of Integration approaches and develop test strategies to verify integration success of geospatial systems. You will support the Software Engineering Center (SEC) and the Army's PM Intelligence Systems & Analytics (IS&A) team pf PMs to solve engineering and integration problems of the geospatial software baselines (imagery software and geospatial software). Expect to plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering, and assess and respond to customer requirements. You might be responsible for major technical/engineering projects of higher complexity and importance than those normally assigned to less experienced engineers, as well as coordinate the activities of engineers assigned to specific engineering projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Additionally, you will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints and integrate new architectural features into existing systems and infrastructures. You could support cybersecurity architectural processes and generate required artifacts. Lastly, expect to be responsible to a leadership team that enables and encourages self-governance with the mindset of 'trust but verify'. You are an expert in your field, and you have experience with the Army's Gold Master baselines and its associated systems. You are aware of the Army's convergence efforts and the relationships
between PM IS&A and Mission Command and how these things impact the warfighter's capabilities to execute geospatial analytics against timely and accurate data. Be a team player accountable of all activities and prepare to develop personally and professionally.
Specific Key Responsibilities: The candidate should have the following experience:
If you have what it takes and can demonstrate these in a possible technical interview, please apply. You must have an active SECRET clearance to be considered. Educational requirements vary but most require a bachelor's degree and some combination of work experience.
