Job Title: Help Desk Tier II
Location: Naval Health Research Center, Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, California
About the Role
3 Reasons Consulting, LLC (3RC) is seeking a qualified Help Desk Tier II Specialist to provide onsite technical support at the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, CA. This role primarily involves supporting end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining desktop computing environments within a DoD setting. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, skilled in troubleshooting hardware and software, and has experience in secure government environments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues.
Provide support for hardware, software, and systems, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
Perform system maintenance, including PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Use ticketing systems to log and manage support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Assist in maintaining compliance with DoD policies and standards.
Document system configurations and procedures to streamline support processes.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with C4ISR systems and environments (preferred but not required).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and standard desktop software.
Experience with DoD security requirements and protocols.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related fields or equivalent professional experience.
Certification: Security+ CE.
Experience: 3+ years in Help Desk or technical support roles in a DoD setting.
Clearance Requirement
Must hold an active Secret security clearance
