ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Crane, IN. This position is onsite.

This position will provide administrative and organization support for a NSWC Crane Department, to include assistance performing Administrative Security related duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper & electronic files, records scanning and management, and providing information to callers
  • Support of Security related Facility Management items, to include inventory of safes & content, and security container combination changes
  • Handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the course of daily duties


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of professional experience relevant to DoD Administrative support, space access control, and office tasking
  • Proficiency working with computers and data entry software applications


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or above
  • Experience related administrative experience at NAVSEA or Navy DoD environment operating; NAVSEA Corporate Applications, Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Base Access Security Information Control System (Basics II), Share Point, Government developed databases, and maintaining/coordinating calendars and schedules
  • Experience working support personnel to ensure admin, IT, and security infrastructure maintenance is provided
  • Experience tracking and managing AV/IT resources and conference room scheduling.


Clearance Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active or current TS/SCI security clearance


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • Move about freely in an office / laboratory setting
