Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented NavyTrial Director to join our team in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Plans and conducts acquisition and analysis of at-sea acoustic evaluations.
  • Must be able to lead a team to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations.
  • Ensures data quality in real time and uses personal judgment to determine the best path forward as an evaluations objectives change.
  • Prepares written, technical reports that identify emergent issues and works with team members to present recommendations for remediation.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Engineering or Physics
  • Previous Officer of the Deck (OOD) underway or equivalent experience
  • Three (3) years of hands-on, demonstrated experience with navigation and/or piloting safety working with U.S. Uniformed Services ships


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience with both submarine and surface ship acoustics
  • Understanding of acoustic measurement systems, in-water measurement arrays, the interfacing of hardware and the development of software
  • Established track record of project management of system development and integration
  • Demonstrated track-record of project management and successful task completion to include coordinating U.S. Navy ship operations with a test and evaluation program agenda


Security Clearance Requirements:
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
