Experis is looking for a Java Developer (Entrust) to support a federal contract. This is a W2 contract and will be a hybrid schedule in Columbia, MD. Given the nature of the work, this will also require an active secret clearance.
Job Description:
A Full Stack Java Developer to help us build Web and backend application/services for Federal IT Program using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. The candidate will join our team of developers building the next-generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Responsible for developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Java, as well as conducting detailed design reviews.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 3+ years of Java/Spring development experience
- 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
- Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
- Thorough understanding and experience in developing using agile scrum methodologies
- 3+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
- Experience leading a team of developers for a large scale Federal IT program
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Secret Level Security Clearance Required
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Entrust Toolkit for Java
- Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program
- 3 years experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies
