Based in Northern Virginia, Axiologic Solutions LLC, has an opportunity for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking an TS/SCI cleared Financial System Engineer/Architect to support our growing team.
Support the objectives of the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) to create, plan, and implement solutions for the improved processing, analysis, collection, organization, storage, management, retrieval, and use of financial data from across the enterprise.

Support the objectives of the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) to create, plan, and implement solutions for the improved processing, analysis, collection, organization, storage, management, retrieval, and use of financial data from across the enterprise.
Duties include:
- Leading research teams to understand and document requirements (data inputs and outputs), business processes, and existing data challenges and further developing and implementing process improvements to the processes and challenges.
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand the links between business processes, data inputs, information requirements (outputs), and potential solutions.
- Developing and implementing solutions to financial data management challenges using advanced Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel technologies.
- Coordinating and participating in system engineering and technical exchange meetings to support quick resolution of architectural, design, system interoperability and policy issues.
- Coordinating and participating in milestone events to include requirement reviews, design reviews, and program management reviews.
- Assess and validate system operational needs such as enhancements or system changes; define and develop technical requirements and specifications for development and test.
- Assist in developing, validating, and implementing systems management metrics and measures.
- Documenting and updating processes through a variety of means: creating user manuals, desk guides, and standard operating procedures; validating all no less than annually
Required:
- Possess a Master's degree in a business or IT related field such as Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, etc. or demonstrate at least 10 years of hands-on experience
- 20 years of total experience in assessing federal financial business processes, developing financial systems options, and implementing system solution to include demonstrated experience with federal financial management including all aspects of programming, planning, budgeting, execution and/or accounting.
- 3 years demonstrated experience supporting the Momentum Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system AND at least 3 years demonstrated experience with system or software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities that may include requirements collection and definition, process mapping, configuration management and testing
- 3 years demonstrated experience developing and implementing automated solutions to financial challenges using VBA, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and/or Microsoft Excel
- 3 years of demonstrated experience extracting technical requirements from business processes or other methods for configuration changes and system enhancements
- 3 years of demonstrated experience communicating both orally and in writing to a variety of audiences, ranging from inexperienced employees to senior executives
- 5 years of demonstrated experience with financial data and reports
- 3 years of demonstrated experience with Momentum-based system
- 3 years of demonstrated experience in developing reports in COGNOS reporting tool in the Intelligence Community
- 3 years of demonstrated experience with the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL)
