Job Description:
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Works with engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Works to resolve material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Attends daily program meetings with internal stakeholders and provide updates on program priorities. Responds to program specific e-mails in a timely manner with necessary program updates.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
- Interfaces with Production Managers, Shop Floor Supervisors, Planning Managers and Program Mangers to schedule and prioritize hardware.
- Monitor production WIP and manage the physical movement of hardware to ensure process control.
- Facilitates coordination and communication between supporting functions to develop a strategy to increase production throughput and reduce cycle times.
- Provide updates on hardware status during program meetings to internal
- stakeholders and identify areas where additional program support is required.
- Conducts periodic inventory audits and reconciles physical counts.
- Utilizes MTS system to reconcile WIP transactions between Zeus (MES) and Control (MRP).
- Identify Aging WIP and take corrective actions to restore alignment with program goals.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area with some impact on department results.
- Contributes to the completion of PBP milestones associated with specific projects.
- Actively engages in 5s and E3 initiatives throughout the year to promote efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance required to start.
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior production planning experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- MRP experience.
