The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Combatant Craft Detachment (NSWCCD C83) operations in Virginia Beach.
The PPM SME position involves working closely with our Technical Project Managers to understand tasking workflow, with branch heads to facilitate collaboration across all branches of C83, and develop a plan to implement a Project Portfolio Management tool(s) to enable CCD leadership to:
Responsibilities:
PPM SME responsibilities begin with developing & documenting C83 PPM requirements and performing a market survey to identify relevant options (e.g. Project, Jira, etc.). Once that is complete PPM SME will draft business rules & employee training for management review and approval and then collaborate w/ management to guide the rollout and implementation of this new tool(s).
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with the tool(s) and teaching others how to use it. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working within a team construct that is focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of C83 project management processes.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $62,200-$130,600

- Track development, review, & approval of project deliverables
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving and organization skills
- Demonstrated skills in performing process/control walk-throughs and control testing, and creating procedure narratives and flowcharts
- Demonstrated identifying deficiencies in (POA&M) and provide recommended solutions
- Expertise in Project management and Project Portfolio Management
- Expertise in organizational and process change management
- Experience in software development and fielding
- Experience with developing policy, guidance, or procedures
- Must be fluent with Office 365, Power BI, etc., or similar project management software
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology (IT) policy and compliance methodology
- Candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, and communicate well
- Work experience or industry certifications demonstrating technical proficiency may be substituted for education requirements
