Generative AI Project Manager
The Opportunity:
As a Project Manager for Artifi cia l Intelligence, you know that machine learning ( ML ) is critical to understanding and processing massive datasets for clients. Your knowledge of leading teams that are c ond ucting statistical analyses on business processes using ML te chn iques makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. We need your te chn ical knowledge and desire to problem-solve to support a variety of high-impact missions across sectors and domains. With a background in ML engineering, you'll support project work around building pipelines to train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data.
In this role, you'll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and te chn ologies. You'll be part of a large community of ML engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, sof tware engineers, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to real world problems, processing data and information at a massive scale, developing pipelines that optimize the use of infrastructure, and integrating critical te chn ologies into efficient user experiences. Your advanced consulting skills and extensive te chn ical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with project management for artifi cia l intelligence, data science, ML engineering, data research, or data analytics
- Experience leading te chn ical teams and project management
- Experience with client management and strategic consulting
- Experience with Generative AI, including transformers or LLM project work
- Experience with Huggingface, LangChain, or AutoGPT
- Experience with sof tware engineering and artifi cia l intelligence projects
- Experience with a programming language, including Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with LLMOps, DevOps, or MLOps
- Experience with modern Cloud containerization computing te chn ologies, including Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rus t
- Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs
- Knowledge of modern sof tware design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing
- Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams
- Master's degree in CS or Statistics
