As a Security Operations Architect, you will help lead the technical direction and growth of security operations solutions for U.S. Government clients. Develop enterprise security architectures, integrate security into IT infrastructures, design frameworks, oversee incident investigations, and manage integration projects to ensure secure operations.

- Strategic Leadership: Drive initiatives like zero-trust models and advanced threat detection; align security strategies with business goals.
- Security Architecture: Develop robust architectures; design adaptable security solutions for emerging threats.
- Frameworks & Standards: Create and enforce security policies and frameworks.
- Incident Response: Lead forensic investigations; mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
- Integration: Oversee security solution integration with IT systems; optimize for performance.
- Collaboration: Mentor teams; build vendor and internal partnerships; promote knowledge sharing.
- Business Transformation: Develop scalable, cost-efficient security solutions.
- Reporting: Deliver executive-level insights on security strategies and outcomes.
Required for this Opportunity:
- Experience: 5+ years in systems engineering focusing on security architecture. Proven SOC project management, preferably on Microsoft platforms. Expertise in Microsoft Cloud tools, incident forensics, and strategic planning.
- Certifications: Security+ (required); Microsoft SC-200, SC-900, AZ-900, AZ-500 (preferred).
- Skills: Analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and leadership.
Location & Travel Details:
- Frequent onsite visits in Virginia (Reston, Springfield, Chantilly, McLean, Tysons) with some remote flexibility.
Security Clearance:
- Must have and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance; TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred.
