We are seeking a skilled Ansible Engineer to design and develop automation solutions that support the Customer’s mission-critical requirements. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing Ansible-centric solutions while ensuring robust configuration management and seamless collaboration within the team.
Qualifications
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• 8+ years of experience in object-oriented programming.
• 5+ years of experience developing:
• Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET, OR
• UNIX applications using make files or similar build environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading projects involving complex software development, fostering collaboration, and implementing configuration management best practices.
• Hands-on expertise in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages used for automation.
• Experience securing automation processes, including vaulting secrets, RBAC, and encrypted communications.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Architectures and policy-based network segmentation.
• Deep knowledge of Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and system configuration.
• Experience applying project management methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and configuration management principles.
• Relevant certification such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is highly desirable.
