Agiletek Solutions is looking for a System Administrator to be on-site at the Pantex plant near Amarillo, Texas. We can provide relocation expenses as well as a $5k sign-on bonus and salary of $165k-$175k. The candidate MUST have an active Q Clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be proficient in one or more of the following:
- Red Hat Linux Administration
- Understanding and using essential tools for handling files, directories and command line environments
- Operation documentation / runbooks
- Operating running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes and controlling services
- Configuring local storage using partitions and logical volumes RAID configurations/maintenance
- Creating and configuring file systems and file system attributes, such as permissions, encryption, access control list and network file systems
- Deploying, configuring and maintaning systems, including software installation and updating
- Managing of users and groups
- Managing of security and basic firewall configurations
- Parallel and multi-processing programming interfaces
- High-performance computing clusters schedule and resource managers
- Strong scripting skills in Shell and/or Python
Specific Requirements:
- Must have experience with Linux administration
- Must be able to maintain a Q Clearance
- Full on-site attendance required
Specific Deliverables:
The candidate will be responsible for standing up and administrating two high-performance computing clusters at the Pantex plant. This will include installing and operating an operating system based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux as well as necessary networking required to have the corresponding system be accessible over the enterprise unclassified and classified networks. The operating system will need to be configured to meet various Pantex and DOE/DOD requirements. A varitey of national labs-made software packages will need to be installed on the system and validated.
