Are you ready to step into the exciting world of data center operations? As a Data Center Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our newest facility that power modern businesses. What You'll Do
Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks on non-critical facility systems to ensure smooth operations
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance of non-critical infrastructure components, keeping our site in top shape
- Monitor and respond to Building Monitoring System (BMS) alerts, following standard procedures and escalating issues when needed.
Vendor Coordination:
- Work with vendors to ensure maintenance and upgrades follow established protocols, contributing to seamless operations
Site Administration & Incident Support:
- Maintain accurate site logs for permits such as Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs) and other documentation
Work Orders & Additional Projects:
- Completes basic routine work order facility requests under supervision
- Assists in routine incident management requests
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth maintenance and operations
- Partner with senior engineers during infrastructure upgrades, learning on the job while contributing to interesting projects
What We're Looking For
- Data Center/Critical Environment Experience: Hands-on experience in a data center or critical environment is essential
- Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of critical infrastructure systems, including UPS, generators, Building Monitoring Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and life safety systems
- Language Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written English and Polish
- Facility Maintenance Experience: Background in building maintenance, particularly in large commercial properties like high-rise buildings, convention centers, or other complex facilities
- Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in a shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Education: High school diploma (preferably with a focus on Electrical or HVAC systems)
