The Opportunity:
The Senior Network/ SATCOM Technician will report to the Project Manager in support of US Naval Expeditionary Combat Command deployable C5ISR systems. This individual will act as the technical Subject Matter Expert for the integration, installation, operation, and maintenance of supported terminals and ancillary equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Manager in lifecycle planning for deployable C5ISR systems
  • Review, develop, and update the following documents: Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and Configuration Management Plans (CMP) for deployable C5ISR systems and ancillary equipment
  • Assist in updating Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for various system updates and tech refresh
  • Maintain logistics information using NAVWAR Systems Command (SYSCOM) Acquisition Integrated Logistics Online Repository (SAILOR) to include uploading new information and deleting obsolete information as required.
  • Maintain the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and/or its predecessors Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS) database for all systems' configurations for program of record and project systems.
  • Perform as the team's subject matter expert for Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) process in support of fielding/ installation of deployable C5ISR systems
  • Develop and assist in execution of Ship Operation and Verification Test Report (SOVT) for deployable C5ISR systems
  • Provide 24/7/ 365 oncall technical support to end-users of assigned C5ISR terminals
  • Provide onsite technical support to end-users worldwide on C5ISR terminals
  • Develop and execute maintenance and technical refresh plans for supported C5ISR terminals
  • Provide training to end-users on the installation, operation, and maintenance (IOM) of C5ISR terminals
  • Provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support which includes, but is not limited to, Tier III repairs to systems that are beyond the technical expertise of the organization's level.
  • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
  • High degree of analytical skills, adept at problem solving with a high attention to detail
  • High caliber oral, written, and briefing skills


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Education: Technical Training in DoD C5ISR systems
  • Fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience with US Navy C5ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation.
  • Extensive experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, experience operating and configuring VSAT/ Idirect, experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, test, and evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in Department of Defense (DoD) C5ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment
  • In addition, the candidate should have knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN.
  • Responsible for participating in promoting, improving, maintaining and supporting all telecommunications services and/or systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with the following:
  • Installation support in Naval Information Warfare SYSCOM/PEO
  • Navy Modernization Process (NMP)
  • Ship Change Documents (SCD) development and tracking
  • Expert knowledge of SPAWARINST 4720.1, Ship Installation Process Handbook, and Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB).
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI


Desired:
  • DAWIA Certification in Logistics or Program Management is highly desirable.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$67,100-$141,000
