The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Infrastructure Virtualization Lead to support our customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), in Omaha Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the STRATCOM Information Technology and Lifecycle Services (SCITLS) program. This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated, professional with at least 10 years of hands-on engineering and testing experience in virtualized on-premise and cloud environments. A skilled knowledgeable engineer with experienced in developing and implementing a VMWARE ESXi infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 3 support to members of the operations virtualization administrators.
  • Maintain all HW and SW components at vendor supported levels.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of ESXi hosts, clusters, and vSAN.
  • Support mission-critical Continuity of Operations (COOP).
  • Develop and/or participate in After Action Reports (AARs)
  • Provide expert advice and direction regarding the management and operation of all VMWARE clusters in the USSTRATCOM enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate current technologies and processes to identify gaps.
  • Provide requirements and strategies for future cybersecurity operations.
  • Active participant in meetings with USSTRATCOM J6 and mission partner working groups.
  • Adhere to applicable DOD STIGs, DISA applicable orders, and JSIG policy, guidelines, and regulations


Qualifications:

Required:
  • A current TS clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of directly relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
  • 8+ years of hands-on VMWARE experience in both engineering, operations and maintenance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of VMWARE concepts and best practices
  • Experience working in a high op-temp, Top Secret environment.
  • One or more VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) certifications

Desired:
  • VMWare Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), VMWare Certified Design Expert (VCDE), and/or VMWare Certified Master Specialist certifications greatly desired.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$99,000 - $217,700
