The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to lead Agile teams, automate deployments, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure smooth platform operation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in Linux and Windows system administration, extensive DevOps experience, and excellent communication skills.
***This is a HIGH PRIORITY, fast-moving role. Salary for this position is up to $250K for highly qualified candidates, and our client will provide additional training for any required skills.***
What You'll Do
Lead Agile teams and participate in all ceremonies.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
Manage and monitor AWS cloud and virtualized servers (PaaS).
Implement and maintain configuration management (Puppet, Ansible) and tracking software (Confluence, Jira).
Develop and maintain web service infrastructure, analyze service stacks, and recommend improvements.
Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance (e.g., PCI).
What You'll Need
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
10+ years of experience in Agile development (excluding education), system architecture (including troubleshooting), and AWS cloud/virtualized server management.
Expertise in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, Maven, ANT, Shell, Puppet, Chef, Ansible), database/caching technologies (MySQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Memcache, Active MQ, Redis, APC), and Git.
Strong programming skills (Python, Ruby, C, C++, Go, Java).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Experience with SDLC models, Agile, DevOps, and Software Defined Networking.
Familiarity with security practices, networking protocols, and firewalls.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
