Security Analyst

Overview of Opportunity:

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Security Analyst with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, ensuring compliance with information security practices, and supporting operational and security needs.

What you will do:

• Conduct thorough security audits to ensure that systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor security systems to detect and respond to vulnerabilities and threats and actively assess and mitigate security risks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Document business rules, technical capabilities, and developing quality metrics to drive operational improvements.
• Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk management, certification, and awareness initiatives for system and network operations.

What you will need (basic qualifications):

• Understanding of Information Security practices and compliance with accreditation processes.
• Proven ability to conduct security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Solid experience with active cyber defense techniques and products.
• Proficiency in monitoring security systems and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.

Nice to haves:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• CompTIA Security+ or similar security certifications
• Experience in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in government environments

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
