Requirements

• Programing in C/C++ within a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)environment.
• Fully capable of administering a RHEL OS.
• Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience, or expeirnece in lieu of degree.
• Secret clearance

Desired Skills

• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting within a RHEL environment
• Proficient in C/C++ programing within RHEL
• Ability to perform high level application testing to ensure software and OS have been properly modified to meet stated requirements and functional stability is maintained

Description

• Designing and developing software applications for the RHEL environment using C/C++, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Integrating and optimizing applications within RHEL, utilizing system-level programming to enhance functionality and maintainability
• Designing and implementing additional system functionality to meet evolving requirements for US Navy communications systems, ensuring alignment with future operational needs
• Collaborating closely with team members to enhance system capabilities, improve performance, and maintain compliance with military standards
• Performing comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects
