Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to Lead a Security Operations Center for a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government customer. We are seeking someone who has previously worked on a Service Desk, preferably one focusing on cybersecurity concerns, and desires to further specialize in the field of cybersecurity. Within this team you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of subject matter experts covering the full breadth of cybersecurity and learn from their expertise. The selected candidates will primarily be responsible for serving as Tier 2 customer service for a range of security incidents, providing the following support:

- Serve as escalation from other Team Members for difficult customers.
- Manage workloads and queues for team members to ensure equal distribution of tickets.
- Field calls from systems administrators who are attempting to resolve cybersecurity concerns (e.g. problems with application of STIG, IAVM)
- Respond to inquiries regarding ACAS Scan Results
- Perform initial review of event and incident logs to gather information on suspected incidents and perform triage.

- Microsoft MCSA or equivalent training

- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- EC-Council Certified Network Defender (EC-Council CND)
- GIAC System Security Certified Practitioner (GIAC SSCP)
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience with a service desk environment
