Azure Cloud Engineer-2058-1

As a Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer you will leverage cloud services to build, test, manage, and deploy applications at an enterprise level.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Producing a strategy for creating a secure and manageable enterprise environment hosted using Microsoft Azure
• Producing scripts to automate the deployment of configurable resources
• Implementing infrastructure to ensure the system can be monitored, is highly available, and grants the ability to manage the overall performance of the system
• Automation of spinning-up and shutting down resources
• Integrating 3rd party products and tools
• Implementing existing governance and policies in a multi-cloud as well as a hybrid cloud environment
• Designing a system that implements data protection with the inclusion of high availability and Business Continuity protection
• Extending systems management processes into the cloud with the inclusion of the following:
  • Change Management
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience deploying enterprise level applications to Microsoft Azure including software such as Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft teams
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments including IaaS and PaaS
• Demonstrated experience using the Azure administration portal
• Working knowledge of a variety of Azure services, offerings, and the Azure billing platform
• Demonstrated experience with at least one other cloud hosting solution such as AWS, HPE Helion, etc.
• Hands on experience with one or more of the following configuration management systems:
  • Ansible
  • Chef
  • Puppet
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using the Azure platform
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot new and existing systems
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally

Education:

Candidate must have one of the following:

• 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
• 10 Years of job related experience and Associate's degree
• 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor's degree
• 6 Years of job related experience and Master's degree
• 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

Desired Skills:

• Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience with the DevOps tools and processes

Desired Certs:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
