Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software.

• Education: BA/BS , or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Location: On Customer Site

Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software.
- Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
- Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
- Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
- Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
- Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
- Ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
- Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
- Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
- May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- May serve as a team or task lead
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: BA/BS , or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Required Experience:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, cabling standards, installation, systems administration, testing equipment, and ITIL best practices
- Must possess appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment: CompTIA Security+ CE is the minimum certification
- As part of your function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero-tolerance policy for security violations.
