Tactical Data Links On Site Support Technician
Technician will provide Onboard Maintenance Training (OBMT) to Ship's Force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) variants AN/USG-2 and AN/USG-2B, including the CP-2702/USG-2B Signal Data Processor (SDP), CV-4448/USG Power Distribution Media Converter (PDMC), C-12512/USG-2 Data Processing Terminal (DPT), AN/PYM-7 Technician Control Device (TCD), TD-1477/USG Time Code Generator (TCG), MO-23/USG Environmental Controller System
Controller (ECSC), C-12513/USG Antenna Environmental Control Unit (AECU), AS-4558/USG Planer Array Antenna Assembly (PAAA), AS-4460/USG Shop Board Active Aperture Antenna (SBAA), CV-4321/USG CEP Input-Output Convertor (CIOC).
The Technician shall perform/provide support during shipboard Combat Systems tasks including Combat Systems, Command, Control, Communications and Computer Readiness Assessment (C5RA), Combat System Post Availability Trials (CSPAT), Combat System Ship Qualification Trial (CSSQT), Integrated Comprehensive Monitoring Program (ICMP), Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA), Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) programs, and Tech Assist events. These efforts may require rapid results in a stressful environment in order to meet ship's mission requirements.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidates possess either of the following Navy Enlisted Classification Codes (NEC): V39A - Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) AN/USG-2 Cooperative Engagement Transmission Processing Set (CETPS) Technician and/or V51A - CEC AN/USG-2B Technicianincluding a minimum of two (2) years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of equipment within the scope of this NEC.
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
