HOW A CABLE TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
• Performs maintenance of different types of cabling equipment and infrastructure.
• Installs more advanced or new technologies based on the needs of the customer/client.
• Research, evaulate, and develop solutions to problems.
• Tests equipment and systems to evaluate whether they meet compliance standards.
• Report findings and provide solutions for any issues that may halt progression.
• Conducts thorough follow-up assessments and checkups of equipment and make recommendations where applicable.
• Provides training on product features and specifications.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: DemonstrateCable Installation, Cable Maintenance, IT Systems and Infrastructure, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications
• Security Clearance Level:
• Required Skills and Abilities: Proficient Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork.
• Location: On-site in Albuquerque, NM

- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Possess Q or TS level clearance (or their equivalency) with the ability to obtain a Q level clearance
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain such clearance as a condition of employment
