Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately in technical matters.
- Extensive knowledge of large, complex USMC supply chain, wholesale and retail ground systems' maintenance programs and their overall support requirements; Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
- Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans to meet program material commitments & proactively manage mitigation plans
- Develop and execute material program plans, subcontract management plans (together with the Subcontract Administrator)
- Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. - pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, external data sources, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.)
- Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs
- Balancing supply and demand to create/maintain executable schedules
- Collaborate with Supply Chain functions for support, as needed
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues
- Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for gate reviews
- Oversight of subcontractor execution performance
- Broad management experience affording knowledge of contract administration, personnel administration, financial management, CLS, and business administration or specialized knowledge of customer requirements. Supervisory experience required.
- Responsible for Personnel Management to include Work assignments, Counseling, Overtime assignments, Shifts, and other administrative functions.
- Responsible for administrative matters to include Development and implementation of SOP's, ISO quality performance and document control, Time Sheet Approvals, Files management, CDRL review and submission, and Administration of certification, licensing and training documentation.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration
- Bachelors Degree; 7-10 years overall with 3 years or more experience in a managerial position related to material management supporting DoD weapons systems, CLS and/or supply chain management support in their respective management function, to include 3 years experience working in a DoD supply chain, logistics, and weapons system management environment.
- Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW).
- Experience in a USMC Logistics and or Materials Management Position or Inventory Management Specialist related to CLS and Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Experience with Operations, Supply Chain / Production Control / Procurement processes and requirements
- Experience working in the DoD Aerospace & Defense industry and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
