Research and develop targeting packages addressing unknown intelligence gaps for future MASINT technical collection capabilities levied against ST (DIA's Science and Technology Directorate) R&D system(s)

Responsibilities

Develops targets and target systems for joint and lethal and/or non-lethal engagements. Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products. Produces all-source analytic damage assessment and assists with combat assessment requirements. Conducts collateral damage estimation, performs target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements. Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. Provides database nominations, creates and updates databases and uploads TM into databases.

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly (or willing to obtain CI Poly)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience
  • The last 2 years direct related targeting experience
  • Experience with Finished Intelligence Products
  • Experience with tools HOT-R, CHROME, Intellink, i-Spy
  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
  • Experience with briefing senior decision makers
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Demonstrates understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors / platforms and human intelligence sources
  • Proficient in basic office environment tools (Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer or Mozilla
