The position involves providing direct support to SSC Technical Agents, focusing on the SSC/BZX Division. The primary responsibilities include capturing and managing updates on Risks, Issues, and Gaps for mission threads as identified by SSC/BZX leadership.
Candidates must be eligible for program clearance and able to perform duties in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), as telework is not permitted

Command and Control (C2) program experience
10+ years (Large Space Program Acquisition / Systems Engineering / Operations)
8+ years of experience with National Security Space ground, space, and/or launch systems
Provide direct support to SSC Technical Agents, focusing on the SSC/BZX Division
Capture and manage updates on Risks, Issues, and Gaps for mission threads as identified by SSC/BZX leadership
Collaborate with Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC) and the U.S. Government (USG) across various SSC areas to identify and address Risks, Issues, and Gaps
Work with acquisition and operational communities to resolve these issues through innovative and collaborative approaches
Gain familiarity with multiple space acquisition and operational offices
A master's degree in astro/aeronautical, mechanical systems engineering, or computer science is preferred; however, candidates with lower educational qualifications may be considered through a waiver process
