The AUKUS, Submarine and Industrial Base Group, within SPA's Sea, Land and Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities and includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy's top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program and the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), to bring improved capabilities to the undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Team Submarine will continue SPA's decades of support to the SSBN force and/or assist in developing the design requirements for the SSN of the future. These are high-profile, major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition. #MC
Responsibilities
The candidate will work as the Chief of Staff supporting the AUKUS leadership team. Responsibilities will include strategic planning to SES and flag leadership, front office management, coordinating program wide task tracking, coordinating with front office staffs of Pentagon and foreign partners, and ensuring quality of AUKUS leadership deliverables.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 20+ years in Undersea Warfare assignments or Master's degree and 8+ years experience in national security
- Experience as an senior staffer, Executive Assistant, Military Assistant or Chief of Staff to a DoD or IC senior executive or flag officer
- Experience leading teams in developing rigorous analytic solutions to top-level government and military issues and addressing client questions and issues
- Exercising independent judgment and ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Current DOD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

- Experience with Foreign Military Sales
- Experience with Pentagon, NSC and Hill stakeholders
- DAWIA acquisition experience
