Job Summary:
In the role of a ServiceNow Sr. Developer you will support our customer by providing a common set of required Enterprise Information Technology services across 187 bases. You will support our DoD customer in the implementation of an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. In this role you will assist in the design and development of self-hosted ServiceNow instances in support of an on-prem environment supporting the USAF. You will support configuring, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow ITSM capabilities within the platform.
Job Duties:
• Providing technical specifications and implementation of ServiceNow integrations while also providing expertise on all technical questions related to development on ServiceNow.
• Developing the technical solutions, implementing those solutions, and perform the component integration tests.
• Working as part of an agile team you will develop an understanding of business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build these into the design.
• Understanding the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project and provide an advanced level of understanding of ServiceNow along with an advanced level programming skills.
• Understanding of ITSM, ITIL and CMDB in the provision of this support.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with ServiceNow implementations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management.
• An active DoD Secret clearance
• Must meet 8570/8140 DoD Cyber Workforce Compliance requirement – Will be required to get IAT Level II certification within 60 days of hire if not already obtained.
• Must live a commutable distance to Chantilly, VA.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience with DoD cybersecurity processes and regulations.
• Proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic
• JavaScript/AngularJS development experience.
• System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS,
• HTTP, REST/SOAP.
