Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support our mission critical work in support of our government customer.

Location & Travel: This Network and Computer Systems Administrator-Journeyman position is an on-site position with up to 10% travel to other sites. Travel will be reimbursed based on GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). This is an after-hours position (2:30 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday-Friday) and may evolve in the future to include rotational shifts that could include weekends and holidays at NGIC in Charlottesville, VA.
Security Clearance: This Network and Computer Systems Administrator position must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Top Secret, with SCI eligibility, security clearance.
Adherence to all customer site protocols is mandatory for employees.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer. Responsible for fulfilling Tier 1-3 Tenant requests to include monitoring operational environments, provisioning Tenant VPCs, configuring roles, addressing tenant access requests, and escalating service requests as required.
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related area of study; 3+ years' experience implementing security principles and administering IT systems. 6 years of experience administering IT systems may substitute for academic degree
- 3+ years supporting operations and maintenance for secure information management systems, including monitoring network availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures
- 1+ year experience with scripting languages including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
- 3+ years experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
- 1+ year experience with Amazon Web Services, containers
- 1+ year experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as necessary
- Active TS clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security + and an AWS certification within 30 days of start
- Onsite at NGIC
