Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Business Analyst to support our client. This is an Onsite role. Work will be performed in Brooklyn, NY or potentially at an alternate New York City location.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The business objectives of the CurRent NYC initiative involve an application that would provide all landlords doing business with HRA with improved customer service, including self-service, facilitate electronic payment of rent, and make payments to landlords accurately across all programs and tenants (the "golden" record concept). The system in production facilitates CityFHEPS application submission, processing, and eligibility determinations, tracks CityFHEPS landlord and property records, and allows landlords to create an online account and perform functions that include submitting updated information, seeing limited payment history, and enrolling in electronic payments. There is a significant enhancement necessary to bring about the envisioned process improvements and to comprehensively address the original project objectives .

TASKS & DUTIES:
- Develop business and technical requirements, provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for the development and enhancement of rental assistance programs, City portal and landlord portals.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for City portal and Landlord portal.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications and business process documentation in Azure to guide development teams in building new functionalities for City portal and Landlord portal.
- Ensure that all requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and testable.
- Coordinate User Acceptance testing and validation to ensure new City portal and Landlord portal are working perfectly.
- Perform impact assessments documenting to ensure that the enhancements lead to seamless communication between systems by liaising with business stakeholders, and technical teams (Development and QA), as necessary in fulfilling the department goals and objectives
- Create the System Design that the Developers will use to create the system enhancements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in requirement gathering, business process modelling and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Gap, Feasibility, SQL and Data Analysis.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in Business Analysis and Project Methodologies, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies.
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in designing workflow and process flow, preparing BRD, FRD, SRS documents.
- Minimum 4 Years Understanding of IT Systems and Process Optimization.
