Lead Project Manager

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to support our client. This is an Onsite role. Work will be performed in Brooklyn, NY or potentially at an alternate New York City location.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Department or Social Services (DSS) has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user's business needs and DSS' workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS.

TASKS & DUTIES:

• Develop comprehensive project management plans
• Lead the planning and implementation of project
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide management reporting and information dissemination
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time
• Provide project quality assurance
• Develop quality assurance metrics to measure outputs
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Ensure all projects changes meets the developed quality assurance metrics before it is released to the user community

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 4 Years Experience in overseeing large scaled, complex projects, comprised of a number of deliverables and/or number of phases
• Minimum 4 Years Experience with acting as Issuing Entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes
• Minimum 4 Years Experience with management of timeline making sure that the tasks are performed as per scheduled date as per project plan
• Minimum 4 Years Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management Techniques, SCRUM and Agile Development Methodologies and Sprint Delivery

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

SALARY: $115,000 - $150,000, Dependent on Experience
