This is an exciting opportunity to join the Germany Patriot Program team as the OCONUS Program Lead in support of the Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) Germany Patriot Capability Sustainment Program Part I (CSP-1) contract.

You will be primarily responsible for coordinating programmatic activities within Germany on the Germany Patriot CSP-1 DCS contract and coordinating across multiple stakeholders to maximize consistency and implementation of program management best practices. You will assist with providing tactical direction for program execution and interfacing with requirements & capabilities teammates to solicit and secure future business.

You will also be expected to work closely with and influence the Patriot Product Line (PPL) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), functional team members, and other business units to ensure alignment and consistency through key portfolio initiatives. You will work through various stages of program execution including final proposal development and negotiations, program startup, program and warranty execution and program closeout.

In addition to the internal responsibilities, you will also be one of the primary interfaces with the German customer for various topics to include but not limited to Technical Interchange Meetings, Executive Program Reviews, customer working groups, hardware and services acceptance events, meetings with key industrial partners, customer working groups and business growth discussions.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Management and execution of in-country programmatic, customer facing events including sourcing of event facilities and logistics planning.
  • Interfacing with Requirements & Capabilities colleagues to shape and refine future business development efforts.
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of program management plans and program SharePoint site, consistent with program requirements and company policies
  • Management and/or development of Program Management Office contractually deliverable documents.
  • Initial review, adjudication of customer warranty claims.
  • Delivery and presentation of contractual documentation to the customer.
  • Support and management of German industrial participation projects
  • Support contract proposal process to include bidding, gating, negotiation, and start-up efforts
  • Expected to travel both within Germany and to the USA, as needed.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience
  • Experience with working with international customers
  • Experience with program and/or project management of military products and/or services
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience on Patriot programs
  • Program Management Level 5 certification or ability to achieve within 6 months
  • 5 years of experience as an IPT lead, program integrator or program manager
  • Strong communication skills and experience presenting to customers and senior leadership
  • Prior experience interacting with international customers

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
