Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Financial Management Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Support SME to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to directly support the United States Space Force (USSF) in advancing mission success and shaping the future of space operations.
In this critical role, you will contribute to the Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) Integrated Program Office (IPO)-a cornerstone initiative ensuring USSF readiness and operational agility. The OTTI program focuses on developing, acquiring, and sustaining state-of-the-art test and training capabilities to maintain a competitive edge in space operations.
We're looking for a candidate who combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight and exceptional communication skills to drive impactful results in a fast-paced and mission-critical environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting the USSF's mission and contributing to the evolution of space operations.
Skills / Experience Required
* Current active DoD Top Secret, SCI Eligible, security clearance
* 15+ years of relevant DoD work experience
* Monitor execution of assigned programs using automated tools such as CRIS, SAFES
* Provide independent assessments of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force financial posture and advise STARCOM and OTTI leadership on decision options
* Possess a clear understanding of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB&E) Processes and associate the current financial landscape with the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and President's Budget (PB) submissions
* Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project's start to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs
* Supply strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to test range program and staff
* Supply detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
* Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or handle the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
* Strong writing, editing, analytical and team facilitation skills
* Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Education / Certifications
* Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering (MA/MS/ME)
* Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
