Quality Analyst

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Quality Analyst to support our client. This is an Onsite role. Work will be performed in Brooklyn, NY or potentially at an alternate New York City location.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The business objectives of the CurRent NYC initiative involve an application that would provide all landlords doing business with HRA with improved customer service, including self-service, facilitate electronic payment of rent, and make payments to landlords accurately across all programs and tenants (the "golden" record concept). The system in production facilitates CityFHEPS application submission, processing, and eligibility determinations, tracks CityFHEPS landlord and property records, and allows landlords to create an online account and perform functions that include submitting updated information, seeing limited payment history, and enrolling in electronic payments. There is a significant enhancement necessary to bring about the envisioned process improvements and to comprehensively address the original project objectives .

TASKS & DUTIES:

• Initiate and implement testing
• Develop test scripts and scenarios for all the functionalities of City portal and Landlord portal and ensure the specifications related to various workflows are captured.
• Perform System Integration Testing ensuring seamless integration with other DSS systems.
• Perform end to end functional testing by designing and developing a functional workflow that agrees to the business ruleset that effectively help in enhancing the workflows such as claims, utility allowance payment, etc.
• Conduct Performance Testing to report any pitfalls in the system design or any unexpected business ruleset behavior and ensure higher degrees of accuracy.
• Creates and executes test cases, log and assign defects and keeps track of the defect status.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 4 Years Experience with QA Methodology and QA Validations to ensure the Quality Assurance Control. Expertise in QA process well acquainted with all phases of SDLC and STLC and had experience in testing very complicated applications. Hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle.
• Minimum 4 Years Expertise in working with Selenium Web Driver using TestNG java framework. Expertise in writing Java script in Eclipse IDE and expertise in inheritance, concatenation and all OOPS concept. Hands-on Experience on developing a framework using a design pattern - Page Object Model.
• Minimum 4 Years Experience in testing Middleware technologies Web Services (SOAP, REST) Testing using SOAPUI. Good experience in validating XML and XML Schema, XML Parser. Worked on cross browser IE, Firefox and Chrome Driver. Hands-on experience in writing own CSS Selectors, Xpath expressions to identify web elements. Techniques to automate Ajax calls, Child Windows and IFrames .
• Minimum 4 Years Hands-on experience Working with TestNG for Automation testing Reports. Hands-on experience on Working with Jenkins for Automation continue integration, job scheduling and configuration. Extensive experience GITLAB as version control tool. Experience in Performance testing using JMETER, LOADRUNNER.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

SALARY: $90,000 - $125,000, Dependent on Experience
