We are seeking an Office365/PowerBI/Power Platform Engineer to join our Advanced Analytics team whose mission is to provide insights and solve problems in support of Navy Medicine's mission, force readiness, and health care management.
This team provides custom analytic findings and develops, maintains, and delivers decision support capability tools to the U.S. Navy operational medical community to include administrators and planners at Echelons I, II, and III. The primary objective of the role is to work directly with our customers to identify requirements, convert requirements into functioning prototypes, and support the customer community in their use of the tools.

OASYS, INC. is seeking an Office365/PowerBI/Power Platform Engineer to support Advanced Analytic efforts within the DoD Medical Enterprise. The candidate will work with customer subject matter experts, data scientists, business analysts, and data engineers to identify opportunities and to execute and maintain projects of executive interest. The candidate will work with leadership, managers, and technical staff across Navy Medicine. The candidate will work to understand business needs, provide internal and external advice on the development of projects and technical plans, and deliver results while building relations and becoming a trusted advisor.
The candidate will participate in the planning and development of automated data tools, dashboards, and other data-oriented tools that support executive-level decisions. This is a hybrid remote work position with preference to reside within commuting distance of Falls Church, VA; San Antonio, TX; or San Diego; CA to support occasional in person meetings. Position will require frequent travel in support of customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Solution Development & Deployment:
Design, develop, and deploy applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate to enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency.
Create and configure interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for Power Platform applications, workflows, and dashboards.
Monitor and resolve issues related to Power Platform solutions, ensuring their reliability, functionality, and performance.
Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather and document user needs, and translate these into technical specifications.
Conduct user training and create documentation to support user adoption and proper usage of developed solutions.
Security, Compliance, & Best Practices:
Ensure solutions adhere to agency and government security standards, compliance policies, and best practices for O365 and Power Platform development.
Stay up to date on O365 Power Platform updates, security enhancements, and compliance protocols, making recommendations to enhance solutions.
Data Integration & Management:
Integrate Power Platform solutions with other O365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, and external databases as needed.
Manage and maintain data sources, connections, and permissions to ensure secure, seamless data access and integration.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance solution performance, and automate repetitive tasks.
Experiment with new features and updates within the Power Platform suite to propose and implement innovative solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree preferred (bachelor's degree acceptable) in computer science, engineering, math, science, or another technical field.
3+ years of IT support experience with at least 1 year of advanced O365 experience.
Superb communication skills with the ability to elicit goals, needs, and outcomes with stakeholders and leadership at all levels across different functions.
Successfully works independently with keen attention to detail.
Possess, or able to obtain and maintain, a SECRET security clearance.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory is preferred.
At least two of the following certifications:

Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
