Test Engineer
The Opportunity:
When the U.S. Air Force acquires a new threat system, significant testing is required to ensure the system will be performed as required. That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer, who knows how to thoroughly test and work with Air Force and vendor engineers, testers, hardware and sof tware developers, to make sure our team provides our clients a thorough and well documented test planning process.
As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with fellow testers, engineers, System Program Office engineers, and operational SMEs. You'll analyze a test plan with test cases based on user requirements.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with aircraft or weapon ry testing
- Knowledge of Department of Defense ( DoD ) and USAF test processes in the acquisition lifecycle
- Ability to work in a Test Planning Working Group ( TPWG ) to produce test plans for sub-system and system level testing
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working with the Air Force Operational Test & Evaluation Center ( AFOTEC ) to produce test plans
- Knowledge of weapon ry certification processes
- Ability to lead various groups across the DoD and industry
- TS / SCI clearance
- Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or Nuclear Engineering
- DAU Test & Evaluation Level II or III Certification
