About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a Material Requirements Planning Specialist to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Material Requirements Planning Specialist will support the combination of research, proof-of-concept test beds, and system engineering/application e?orts focused on the goals of enhancing the capacity, the robustness to interference, and the ?exibility of future generations of communications satellites, as well as beyond line-of- sight radio communications systems.

10 years Electrical/Electronics/Electronic component procurement
10 years Creating and updating documentation
10 years Interfacing with high-rel PCB fabrication and assembly vendors
10 years Knowledge of the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP)
10 years Prior experience working with Government Purchasing guidelines and Federal Acquisition Regulations
10 years Procurement of PCB components
10 years Materials/ Materials Management
10 years Program/Project Management OR Analysis
10 years Maintains Master Schedules
10 years Production Management
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity or previous experience with the AEHF Universal Test Terminal (AUST-T) and the AEHF Satellite Simulator (SatSim).
Also, familiarity with Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) Test Terminal

There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen - Authorized to Work in the US(Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila will sponsor you for the security clearance if the position doesn't require an Active Clearance.)
- Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
Will include but not limited to:
- Assure that product information depicted on con?guration documentation is accurate
- Coordinate purchasing of required components and hardware
- Identify alternate vendors for obsolete parts
- Develop purchase requisition for required components
- Receive components and maintain inventory database in Parts and Vendors
- Assemble kits of parts as subsystems are developed
- Work with sta? to identify potential parts manufacturing and quality issues
- Oversee Return Material Authorization processes
- Assist sta? in preparing cost and budget estimates
What You'll Bring:
- Prior experience using Part and Vendor's database, version 6
- Prior experience with logistics for documenting and creating purchasing recommendations for a large system
- Prior experience with machine shop and printed circuit assembly shop documentation and operations
- Understanding of Functional Con?guration Audits (FCA) and Physical Con?guration Audits (PCA) processes
- Prior experience working with Government Purchasing guidelines and Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Knowledge of the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP)
- Familiar with using Systems, Applications & Products (SAP) Data Processing and Electronic Cataloging system
- Trained in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protection
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
