Systems Administrator

Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Ramstein, Germany. The team at Ramstein AB, Germany is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator. The candidate will be responsible for working with multiple members of systems and network team around USAFE theater and supporting information sharing with our international partners. In support of our customers, the Systems Team provides systems expertise, hardware/software installation, and network troubleshooting.

Essential Job Duties

• Windows Server 2019 administration, Windows 10 configuration and deployment.
• Build and maintain Active Directory Domains, Sites and Services, Forests and Trusts.
• SolarWinds network mapping and monitoring.
• Group Policy creation, editing, management.
• Exchange administration.
• Applying DISA STIGS for compliance
• Software installation/troubleshooting.
• VMWare vSphere Build outs of Data Centers and Single Enclaves.
• Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of network devices and the CLI.
• WSUS Exports/Imports, Windows Deployment Toolkit.
• Netapp configuration and builds, Software Defined Networking and Software Defined Data Center via VMWare NSX.
• Administering Microsoft Certificate Authority
• Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Sets up administrator and service accounts.
• Maintains system documentation.
• Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• May program in an administrative language.
• Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
• Provides advice and training to end-users.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Patches and updates multiple client and server operating systems to Department of Defense guidelines.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with Microsoft Windows based servers and devices.
• Develops scripts and tools to automate and improve user support activities.

Minimum Requirements

• An active in-scope SECRET clearance.
• High School Diploma with eleven (11) years of IT related experience, OR AA/AS +7 OR BA/BS +5.
• Must receive TESA approval from the German government.
• DoD 8570 IAT level II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) or higher.

• Netapp SAN and Brocade Fiber Channel Switches.
• vCenter, NSX, and the ESXi Hosts.
• Physical servers, CMC, iDRAC.
• Linux.
• HyTrust Cloud Control.
• Building of Domain Controllers.
• Microsoft Server 2012r2 OS.
• Red Hat enterprise Lenox 6 &7.
• DNS (Domain Name System).
• Microsoft Exchange 2013.
• Sharepoint 2013.
• Xmpp chat client/server (openfire).
• KMS (Key management Server) RMS (Rights management), DFS (distributed file system (multiple file shares).
• WSUS.
• Microsoft Certificates authorities.
• MCSA or higher Microsoft certification.
• Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Work Environment

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
• Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
