Responsibilities
As a Knowledge Management Specialist with MTSI you will support the office of (Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Emerging Technologies (SIPET)) within OSD DOT&E in identifying OT&E/LFT&E needs, gaps, and potential solutions, assisting in crafting new ways of doing business, and to support Service and agency operational test organizations solve problems. The work location is located primarily in the rlington, VA area.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Develop information retrieval solutions to support client requirements for specified domain subjects, using information retrieval software languages and automated text analysis and extraction techniques.
- Collect deliverables for input into knowledge management system. Foster information sharing and enhance decision making across the program.
- Assist with developing KM strategies and methodologies utilizing Government-approved domains to develop, build, manage, and maintain collaborative environments IAW client and DoD standards and regulations.
- Support content of the web portal and other document repositories by managing metrics, deliverables, and other TO-related information and materials.
- Assist technical teams manage long-term storage of engineering work products.
- Maintain records in accordance with Government regulations.
- Capture analytic products into the client Portal. Provide Quality Assurance of metadata attributes and monitors data sharing agreements.
Qualifications
- 1-10+ years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist:
- Junior (1-3 years' experience)
- Journeyman (4-9 years' experience)
- Senior (10+ years' experience)
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors in relevant field.
Certifications Desired:
- None
Clearance Requirements:
- Secret
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. (Desired)
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
