Graham Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Sr. DBA/Developer to join our team supporting mission-critical operations in Washington, DC. This role focuses on database development, process optimization, dashboard creation, and advanced reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong database administration and development background, with the ability to design, implement, and manage systems that meet complex organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient database systems to support organizational objectives.
- Optimize and document database processes to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and manage interactive dashboards for data visualization and reporting.
- Analyze and implement reporting solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems, dashboards, and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Clearance: Must possess an active Q clearance or TS/SCI.
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in database administration and development.
Skills:
- Expertise in database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.
- Strong skills in SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and database optimization techniques.
- Experience in designing and implementing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working in highly secure environments, preferably within the federal or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Certifications such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
