Job Description
Valiant Harbor International is seeking a Program Specialist to support a federal client in the administrative execution of Science and Technology (S&T) corporate tasks for the Science Advisor (SA) Program. This role involves serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership, program directors, and management teams for international S&T engagements, operations, and corporate communications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management, strategic planning, and organizational support for high-level initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Track and recommend solutions to concurrent, complex business challenges requiring sensitive coordination with ONRG and ONR staff and members of the Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE).
Plan, schedule, and coordinate ONRG employee interviews, including reserving conference rooms, preparing interview materials, taking notes, and consolidating panel feedback.
Organize and manage the annual ONRG Industry Tour, including identifying organizations to visit, booking accommodations, providing administrative support, and leading the tour coordination.
Schedule and coordinate ONRG Science Advisor quarterly reviews, consolidating inputs for leadership and preparing briefing materials.
Plan and execute ONRG events such as the Global Technical Meeting (GTM), employee orientations, and the Global Strategic Review (GSR).
Prepare materials, compile presentations, draft meeting minutes, and develop after-action reports for ONRG events.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date ONRG SA Program documentation on shared drives within an eight-hour timeframe.
Update briefing materials and contact information for SA’s and warfare center POCs regularly.
Collect, review, and distribute ONRG SA reports (weekly, monthly, and annually) on both NIPRNET and SIPRNET to meet reporting deadlines.
Facilitate professional written and verbal communications with SA candidates and ONRG stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate information exchange.
Coordinate logistics for on-site and off-site meetings, including booking venues, distributing read-ahead materials, and supporting event execution.
Provide business administration services to support communications between ONRG Corporate Communications and ONR Headquarters Corporate Strategic Communications.
Job Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim Secret Clearance prior to start date.
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant work experience in U.S. Government S&T program support. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, candidates must have an Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant work experience in U.S. Government S&T program support.
Professional maturity to interact with international teams and O-6/GS-15 level officers and civilians in Joint, Navy, and Marine Corps commands.
Knowledge of the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE) and Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE) is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Understanding of administrative processes for managing complex programs and supporting senior leadership.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00
