Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an exceptional candidate to provide support to the Operational test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) Integrated Program Office (IPO) as an Acquisition Security Analyst L3.
The analyst position will assist with the development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies to protect advanced technology programs throughout the system's life cycle
Skills / Experience Required
* Hold and maintain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) DoD clearance
* 10+ years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense, providing a wealth of insight and expertise to drive mission success
* Excel in conveying complex information with clarity and accessibility, ensuring all stakeholders comprehend key details effectively
* Advise on processes, methodologies, and techniques to enable Program Protection Planning (PPP)
* Assist in identifying the appropriate mix of measures to protect information, components, and technologies from known threats and attacks
* Develop and implement a risk management-based program protection plan and strategy to manage risks to Critical Program Information (CPI)
* Provide security recommendations and cognizant security authorities as it relates to the DoD acquisition and sustainment processes
* Provide specific guidance pertaining to the contract security requirements in reference to cost, feasibility and appropriateness of requirement
* Coordinate between appropriate security authorities for acquisition program activities
* Directly support customer program protection/security officers in the development, execution and implementation of PPP
* Assess threat and risk, develop risk management actions and implement long term courses of actions
* Assist in the development and writing of operations security (OPSEC) plans, emergency action plans, security CONOPS, and any other security documents as needed for the customer
* Conduct analysis of foreign intelligence threats against programs involving customer's critical research, sensitive technologies or CPI
* Prepare and produce analytical products from numerous resources, to include various databases, to ensure a real-time, tailored product is provided
* Provide classification guidance and assistance for all security programs to include collateral and Special Access Programs (SAPs)
* Review Counterintelligence reports and prepare written summaries of activities with potential impact to customer resources
* Write, review, and/or edit Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), Managed Access Plans (MAP), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), System Test Plans (STP)
* Assist system security engineers performing close out actions for SAPs as needed Develop and assist with security education and training for personnel
* Provide support to associated operations, missions, and organizational elements involved in developing system requirements to associated systems Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Appropriations
* Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, navigating challenges with strategic insight and agility
Education/Certifications
* Bachelor's degree, although relevant work experience (industry/DoD/training) may be considered as a substitute
